Oh the excitement...

we bought a crib ;) I know, it doesn't get any better than that, does it? After 2 solid days of crib searching and tons of research this is what we decided on...

We didn't buy a dresser, we're going to wait and see what happens with the house and then decide what will fit in the nursery.

Speaking of the house, we had FOUR showings this weekend, which was awesome. However, we need to figure out a place to go when people call and want to see the house in 20 minutes. Right now we end up at a coffee house or restaurant which means that we're eating too much and spening too much money. Hopefully it will result in a new house, but in the meantime it's breaking the bank ;)

We had our *big* appointment and ultrasound last week. The good news is that my tears seem to have healed and I"m allowed to exercise and travel again. It feels so good to be able to move my body a little, and since I'm doing okay (and hopefully will stay that way) we booked a trip to Key West the 2nd weekend of February... yeah!!! The baby looks fantastic, s/he spent the whole ultrasound showing us his/her karate moves... we're in trouble, this baby is not one for sitting still! We have a video but I haven't figured out how to put that on the blog yet. Unfortunately due to all his/her moving around we didn't get very many good photos, but here are two.

Our child looking a bit like the spawn of satan :)

And a semi-okay profile shot

And, since Steph has been harping on me about my lack of belly shots, here is this week's (22 weeks!!!) :) I'm feeling pretty good, I think my body is starting to get used to this pregnancy thing. I'm trying to enjoy it while things are going well.

You are crazy if you think I don't want to hear about baby stuff! Just because I'm not having a baby doesn't mean I don't get a kick out of it vicariously. Only better because I don't have to have one!

And one day when the little rug rat is acting up I'm going to remind you that you likened the baby to the spawn of Satan, and then I'm going to laugh.

The crib and your baby belly are so cute!!! Isn't it exciting once you start actually getting stuff for the baby?!

Your belly is sooo cute! My original vote was for girl but because of the most recent pic I am switching to boy. Love the crib too and the pics of little baby Schwab!
