A week of firsts!

We had a big week! We spent our first night away from home. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and it was so much fun! In fact we might move in with them, they make life really easy for Mommy. They only give Emma up when she needs to eat and they cook for me ;)
We also wore our first cloth diaper... we're in the process of transitioning and we're so excited!! Okay, I'm excited and Jamie is a little freaked out, but I do the laundry ;)
Emma also met the *other* Emma, which was super exciting for all of us. For those who know, I used to nanny for Emma and I love her and her parents so much!
And last but not least, Emma met her first cousins! Jamie's sister Andrea, her husband Jeff and their children Madi, Jack and Dorothy came to stay with us and it was a lot of fun :)

First Grandpa made us dinner... fish tacos

Then Emma took a bath

and got dried off

Then she snuggled with Grandpa and Grandma

And passed out at the end of a hard day :)

This is how we've been spending our days lately, at the pool ;)

Check out this cute diaper!!

It gives her a bit of a FUP, but it's cute ;)

More pictures...

Before I start with this week's post my mother would like me to clarify that they did NOT wear those hats out in public, it was merely for the picture and she's very disappointed that I chose to share the picture with y'all. Whatever, I think it's adorable ;)
We had a fantastic Father's Day with Jamie and my Dad and we've been spending the rest of the week trying to get the house in order. Emma had her first Early Intervention appointment yesterday (she qualifies due to her low birth weight) and the therapists were very impressed with how well she was doing. They'll come once a month to monitor her and make sure she's on track, but they expect her to be caught up with her peers in no time (watch out Wills and Meena!!) :)

3 months old!!

And 3 weeks adjusted :) We had a good week... the move was absolutely hectic, but thanks to both set of parents the house is livable and even has paint :)
Emma is doing great! We haven't had her weighed yet this week but she's getting bigger, I can tell :) She loved meeting her Nonni and Papaw, and I think they liked her too. She's holding her head up very well these days (for minutes at a time) and she's starting to smile. We've only caught a couple, but I don't think they are a fluke.

Emma's new bed... hehe :) Since we haven't transitioned her to her room yet this is what we've been using.
It also doubles as a nice window seat :)
Look at those cheeks!!

Dancing on our sheep. Emma (or Mom) is having a great time unpacking all of her shower presents!

Grandma and Grandpa were getting ready to go dancing at the Grizzly Rose :)

Emma's first visit to the zoo. We watched Gidget the Sea Lion perform.

I think I like it here :)

Weirdo

Emma LOVES her new swing!!

Warning, I'm including house pictures but you aren't allowed to judge us. This place is MESSY :)

My absolute favorite place *in* the house. The porch swing that my parents gave us as a housewarming present.
